Swimmers must:

• be 5-18 years of age as of June 1st
• demonstrate the ability to enter the water unaided
• be able to safely swim one length of the 25 meter pool (any stroke) without resting on the bottom of the pool or on the lane ropes

Coaches will evaluate swimmers during the first week of practice to determine placement. If, during that time, the coaches determine that your swimmer is not quite ready to participate this year, coaches will contact the parents of the swimmer. 

Families must:

• be willing to volunteer at least one session in which your swimmer is competing. Family volunteers are critical to managing a successful season, and your participation is essential. Swimmers whose families do not volunteer for swim meets will not be allowed to compete. 

Registration fees cover expenses such as coaching fees, insurance, and equipment (i.e., public address system, upkeep on starting blocks, lane ropes, flags, tables), Northland Swim Conference (NSC) fees, and USA Swimming fees.

• Registration fees for 2026 are yet to be determined. 
• 2025: Registration is $175 per swimmer for Old Pike Country Club members
• 2025: Registration is $225 per swimmer for Old Pike Country Club nonmembers
• 2025: A $5 per athlete donut fee for Fun Fridays
• 2025: $14 Northland Swim Conference fee
• 2025: $50 USA membership fee
  *Current year round (i.e., club) swimmers will not need to pay this USA swimming fee, as their $50 fees to USA Swimming have already been paid.
• Club Swimming Note: We welcome club swimmers and are happy to work with the club practice schedule so that you can participate on both teams!

Payment for registration and fees - excluding USA Swimming membership - will be completed online through your SportsEngine account. During the registration process on SportsEngine, you will be referred to the USA Swimming site to complete your required steps. Registration refunds are not guaranteed due to team fee obligations to NSC. As a result, any possible refunds may be partial and must occur before June 15th.
